Mixing
the single "Boy Seventeen" and getting really tired of hearing
it.
My studio took up most of the living room. Guitars and keyboards and
scores of test CDs were constantly scattered all over the floor. I
spent untold hours in that room working on "The Secret Life of
Boys" album.
Cool thing about that room - which was on the 6th floor of Potomac
Place apartments - is that it had a huge sliding glass door with a
great view of the Washington monument. Fourth of July was amazing
because I could be sitting in my air-conditioned living room-studio
working on a song and watch the fireworks going off on the other end
of The Mall.
